Mica tapes (VPI – Vacuum Pressure Impregnation, Resin Rich & Traction Motors) are designed to meet the requirements of the specialists in the manufacture, AC/DC Electric Motor and Generator repair. We also cater to motor repair and rewinding specialists.

We manufacture various grades of mica papers that are used in the production of high dielectric mica tapes and wrappers made with muscovite and phlogopite mica.

VPI Mica Tape (Muscovite or Phlogopite)
We offer a comprehensive line of VPI (Vacuum Pressure Impregnation) tapes with low binder content for coils and bus bar insulation of high voltage rotating machines.

Electrical Glass Cloth/Mica tape is a kind of dry mica paper tape, supported by glass cloth (single-sided) and impregnated with high-property resin, compatible with epoxy system and unsaturated polyester system, it shows excellent electrical, mechanical properties, good integrity with long-operating life after coils wrapped and VPI treatment, widely used for VPI insulation in F-class DC and traction machines.

Resin Rich Mica Tape
High voltage stator windings of rotating machines operating for  Class F (155°C). These tapes are backed on one or both sides to meet the requirements of modern taping machines. After curing, the insulation can be rigid or flexible according to the user’s requirements.

Mica Tape for Cables
Mica tape for fire-resistant cable consist of the heat resistant phlogopite mica paper or Muscovite mica paper or synthetic mica paper bonded to an electrical grade glass cloth or PE film as the supporting fabric, impregnated with a specially selected high temperature resistant silicon resin.

Phlogopite Mica Tape
For the excellent flame resisting characteristics, it has been widely used for power and control cables, instrumentation and signaling cables etc. Due to the very high flexibility and high tensile strength ,this tape can be easily applied with high speed standard wrapping equipment.

Muscovite Mica Tape
